Job Description
- Code, modify, test, correct and document new and existing programs using assigned languages, tools and coding conventions;
- Prepare JCL to load DB2 table or define VSAM files with the extracted test data for performing the various tests, eg stress test, regression test, performance test etc. When tested successfully, repeat the process for creating production DB2 & VSAM f
- Troubleshooting and supporting end-users in the implementation and maintenance of application systems;
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Computer Science/Information technology or similar fields.
- Able to use ISPF Editor to write and maintain programs and JCLs;
- Have at least three (3) years’ post graduate programming experience on IBM mainframe z/OS and CICS operating environment using TSO, ISPF, COBOL for z/OS, CICS COBOL, JCL and other utilities. The 3 years’ programming experience must be within the past
