Job Description
- Feed the pigs and ensure their well-being.
- Help the pigs give birth and take care of the piglets & assist with insemination.
- Spot abnormalities (diseases, injuries, etc.)
- Spread manure.
- Assist in moving pigs.
- Maintain equipment and buildings.
- Maintain animal health records.
- Observing animals for signs of illness and giving medication when necessary.
- Performing facility maintenance.
- Checking for proper ventilation & temperature conditions.
- Performing artificial insemination or other breeding duties
- Coordinating waste removal
- Transporting stock to farms or processing plants
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Agriculture or similar fields.
- Atleast College level has background in animal Science.
